Can we please put post-approval on the OT Fictions forum? A ton of spam bots have been posting there.
That 2in diameter fart can probably adds at least 50bhp.

I've been noticing that too. I agree, that should be put in it's really getting annoying.

I agree, it is getting quite annoying. Especially since members keep replying in them, and bumping the topics up to the top of the forum, and don't think about the fact that if they don't reply to the nonsense, and just report it, it will just fall to the bottom of the forum.

Okay putting post approval up for an individual forum isn't going to help. I need to look at improving the spambot countermeasures. We could also try utilizing post approval for the new member's first few posts until we confirm that the member is not a bot.
So we need to look into this, but I won't be able to until I get back

I dunno I would be kind of put off if I was new, by that. It does make sense though but then you would still get loads of spam posts awaiting approval, guess it keeps it out of the members' eyes though at least.

Moka, that would be a better idea, but the main reason I'm saying this is because the OT fiction forum is where most of the spam bots have been posting, for whatever reason. And it seems to me such a forum should have post queue enabled anyway.

@Flip: Yes, it would be annoying for new members to have to wait for their post to be approved. Plus, by the time their post gets approved, the discussion may have moved on, making their reply seem out of place.
@Snowy: The abasoove are just some of the reasons why a post queue isn't enabled everywhere, if that's what you were suggesting.
