Well that sucks. All the "gamers" stuck in the past got their own way it seems. The whole point of the DRM was that you could buy the game disc, install it and then you would never need it again (or you would just download it and have it installed that way). That's why PC has it.
The DRM was what allowed the console's biggest plus point - the ability to share games. Once a disc was installed, you would be able to share any of your games with ten people, they would just download it from the cloud where your games were stored, since people cried about online checks, that's no longer going to be happening. It WAS better to be able to share your games via cloud than with discs.
It's even LESS appealing now, because now there is nothing that makes it different (better) than PS4, now it's lost it's entire unique selling point and is just a PS4 that forces you to pay more upfront for a mandatory camera.
Oh well, PS4 it is. They were winning before anyway lol
