Another "cub" joins the pride!

Adofo: Sure thing baby! .....How about, you flank right, and I go left?

Ekanem nodded and swiftly started to circle around the right of the gemsbok. It was her first hunt, and she was eager to prove that she was able to catch her own prey.

[Adofo]

Adofo was a little slow at first, that way she'd have a bit of a head start

[Iri]

The gemsbok continued to graze until Ekanem pounced on it, chasing it in the general direction of her father.

[Adofo]

Adofo grabbed onto it
Adofo: ALL YOURS, BABY!

[Iri]

[Hope this isn't too gory.]

Ekanem quickly and mercilessly killed it, a bit of blood staining the grass. She silently gave thanks to the Great Kings for the gemsbok's life, the way some of the lionesses had done.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Very well done, Ekanem! I'm proud of you! Really proud!

[Iri]

Ekanem grinned proudly. Her first kill...

Adof: So.....ready to have a little snack?
