Species: Tawny Lioness – Panthera Leo

Gender: Female

Age: 3 months (when found by Tarzan & Jane) 1 ½ (when Clayton returns for his revenge)

Personality: As a cub, she was shy towards those she did not know, but around Tarzan & Jane she was outgoing and playful. She became curious, clever and strong as a teenager, as well as kind hearted and caring. She is a great companion to Tarzan. However, she fears Clayton more than anything, and that is her biggest weakness.

Description: Aimee has the rare ‘white lion gene’ from coming from a white lion father and a normal lion mother. She is lighter than normal African lions, and has the white lion trademark blue eyes. She has a reddish brown nose and light pink inner ears. She also has a hair tuft, odd for a lion as well.

Other: She is sleek and slender, helping her through the jungle. Her claws are almost always out, for climbing, but she has a gentle touch. She has musuclar back legs and is able to keep up with Tarzan well. She also wears a sky blue bandanna around her neck, that Jane made.

History: Aimee was actually born in the African savannah, borderlining the jungle. When Clayton, who survived because the vine was actually hooked onto the back of him instead of his neck, was freed by Sabor’s mate, he ventured out with the female leopard to find humans to help him seek revenge. When he did, he found English poachers on the plains of Africa, looking for lions.

He explained his story and quickly established leadership over the group of poachers, and has been planning revenge on Tarzan. Clayton and the poachers decided to do a little bit of hunting before going back to the jungle. This is where Aimee comes into it. When the poachers came across a white lion, they had there hearts set on brining it down. They did, and soon got him stuffed. They captured his mate, and found a rare tawny cub. Decided she would make a great profit, they kept her alive, killing the mother for her fur when Aimee was weaned off the milk.

She still needed it, but not that much. She was treated awfully, just being given enough food to stop her from starving, and has been weary of humans ever since. When Clayton and the poachers journeyed into the jungle in their trucks, on the back of one of those trucks was the crate Aimee was kept in. Due to a rough ride, it fell off and no one noticed. She thought she was going to die in the crate, not able to get out. But luckily, Tarzan found it.

He felt sorry for the cub and took it in, him and Jane nursed Aimee back to health and because Tarzan and Jane could both freely communicate with the animals, they were able to speak to Aimee. She lived harmonously with both human and gorilla, and only ate fish from the river that Tarzan caught her. Of course, when she was old enough, she caugh them herself. She didn’t have parents to teach her how to hunt, so Tarzan did. She didn't have a mother to teach her manners, how to love and share, but Jane taught her. She even understood and could speak some English. (ok, unrealistic, but it is the Disney universe we are talking about)

Even though now as a young teenager, she accompanies Tarzan everywhere and she has never felt like a pet. If anything, Tarzan, Jane and Aimee feel like a family. She has always seen Tarzan and Jane as parents, but never forgets her real mother and father. Who were both killed in front of her very own eyes, a sight she could never forget.
