Around her fiance though, she’s withdrawn and submissive unless with her friends, where she feels safe enough to even talk. At times she can be stubborn, but she’s quite intelligent and has her moments of brillance, but she equally has some blonde moments too. She has a good sense of humour, and loves to laugh.

Background: Amy was the first born daughter of King Markus and Queen Colette of Ordaea. Since before her birth, she was bound in a treaty of peace between the Kingdoms of Ordaea and Thaseos. The treaty was made after years of bloodshed, and the Queen of Thaseos pleaded her King not to continue for the sake of they’re young son, Drake.

The King of Thaseos reluctantly agreed, but secrently planned to train Drake as a boy to sword fight well, and the strategies of war were drummed into his brain. In the treaty, both Kings and both Queens had agreed that Drake would marry the first born daughter of Ordaea.

And so, Amy was born a few years later, and grew up knowing she’d have to marry a man she might not fall in love with. She grew up with her friend Amber, who she asked to make a Duchess so she could accompany her on journies. Her parents agreed of course. She also grew up with her slightly older cousin Blaine, who she convinced to come out as the only gay member of all the Royal families.

Her parents throughout her life lived in the Palace of Peace and visited her only every month. Amy had always loved her parents, and wished they were around, but as she grew older, her parents decided she didn’t need them as much but they love her just the same. They were busy running a kingdom after all.

They made sure a beautiful mansion was built for her and she had everything she could possibly need.
Her mother and father dislike Drake and his parents, but all three of them know it’s essiantial to prevent war from breaking out once more. Her parents are clueless to her abuse, and have always told her to come to them if she needs help, she can’t sum up the courage to do it though.

When she met Drake at the age of 14 for the first time, she found him flirtatious and a little bit charming, inviting perhaps, but she had no idea what he could be like behind closed doors. A couple of months later, they were engaged, and Amy soon found out exactly what he was like. She hadn’t known he would physically and mentally abuse her.

She cannot marry him formally until she’s 16, and she finds that a blessing and a curse. It gives her time to figure out what’s she’s going to do about it, but if she doesn’t find a solution, it’s the end. Once she’s married, he can do whatever he pleases, in public and behind closed doors. He will be able to things that she doesn’t want him to do...if you know what I mean.
