History:
Leona and her brother, Lyon, were born to their mother, Savanna. Unfortunately, their father didn't live long enough to meet them due to a hunting accident, which left their mother to raise them by herself. Leona and her brother were obedient cubs though, even if Lyon was a bit more rambunctious than her. She was a lot more cautious than him as well, especially when her mother made the choice to bring two cubs, siblings Safari and Kat, into their family.
Leona was very nervous around them at first, refusing upfront to speak to them whenever they tried to initiate conversation. Kat was a bit more like her though, so she got the message that Leona just didn't want anything to do with them. Safari on the other hand was a lot more persistant and wasn't as willing to back down. Over time of course, Leona adjusted to their presence and even found a friend in Kat BECAUSE of their similar personalities.
After Kat and Lyon married, they had their first cub; Raja. Leona fell absolutely in love with her nephew, constantly coddling him and spoiling him to no end. However, because he was sick, this led Leona and her family to worry for the little cub. After agreeing to return to Kat's birth pride, Leona was introduced to the king and his subjects.??
When the old king retired and once Raja's health improved, Leona was at her brother's side when he was crowned. She was appointed as the secondary leader of the hunting party, should Kat be unable to fulfill her duties. In a twist of events, the family would grow a bit bigger from the introduction of Bibi, an orphaned cub. Leona equally adored her, as did the old king and the other.
