"Hey, Nafasi!" Kiburi called to the pretty young lioness. He bounded after her, his paws thumping on the hard savannah dirt. "Wait!"
Nafasi gave him a long look over her shoulder, her cerulean eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yes?" She murmured, slowing down slightly.
"Oh....um..." Kiburi realized he had nothing to say. He grinned sheepishly, feeling his cheeks redden. Nafasi rolled her eyes, but let her friend pad beside her.
