Themba is the eldest son of Kovu and Kiara. He is over-protective of his little sister, Jua, when she meets a rouge that enters the Pridelands when they are teens, but soon figures he can trust the lion, once he shows true love to his sister. Themba soon finds a mate; Laini. She has problems producing cubs by manages to produce one daughter to Themba to which they name Azol.
