Sarafina was born and raised in the Pride Lands. She had every intention of staying there contentedly. That was until young rouge named Nyota entered the picture. He had just left his pride to start his own.
Sarafina was enamored with him, and he with her. Soon she decided to leave with him and be the first, and quite possibly, only, lioness of his Pride.
They indeed stay with just each other. and were allowed to stay in the Pridelands. They soon had a daughter, named Nala, who became fast friends with the prince.
Not too long after, Sarafina became pregnant with another cub. However, another lion had his eye on Sarafina. The male thought that it would be like any other situation. He'd kill the male and his cubs and take his mate. He sadly succeeded in the first step of his plan, but failed in the next two. Sarafina, though expecting, fought of the other lion and took her daughter back to the safety of Pride Rock, where she knew she would be safe.

Indeed I do, which is why I named him such ^^ I read somewhere the Sarafina's name meant "Shooting Star" I wanted him to have somewhat of a similar name, saw Nyota on a Dictionary and loved it.
