Eyes: His right eye is a dark teal color with a green rim on the inside that rays outwards. His left eye is a light teal color with the same green rim on the inside that also rays outwards. (Different colored eyes) Unlike TLK lions, he has white colored outer-eyes instead of a yellow or a gold that is mainly found in TLK styled lions. This was caused by a genetic defect from cross-breading a lion with a cheetah.
Nose: He has a contrast of the Pridlander's and the Outsider's nose.
Fur: Kanu has a dark brown/red coat with a contrasting dark beige undercoat. His spots under his eyes are black and frame his eyes. He has signature cheetah eye markings that are black (given to him from his grandmother.) He also has black spots on the back of his ears. He has a darker brown color on his upper eyelids with the contrasting dark beige colors on his lower eyelids. On the insides of his ears, he has the dark beige color, like his undercoat, and a black color on the outside of his inner ear. Just like Kovu in TLK, he has cheek tufts that take on an edgy characteristic. He has a dark brown dorsal stripe that runs down his back starting from his mane. His paws fade into the dark brown (the same color as his upper eyelids.) His dark beige undercoat comes down the inside of his legs like Simba's do in TLK. His tail is the same color as his mane without the green, but the tail does fade into a silver color at the tips.
Hair/Mane/Tail: He has a dark almost black mane with lime green tips that fade to a silver color at the ends. His tail is the same dark color as his mane, except it fades to the same silver color at the tips (Without the green.)
Accessories: He has 2 silver hoop earrings on his left ear. He has a silver cuff around his tail.
Personality: Kanu is very curious about his surroundings, but at the same time very cautious. Although he doesn't seem like he is paying attention most of the time, it is just because he is usually thinking about more important things. He has the wonderful gift of having a two track mind. A two track mind means that he can be thinking about two things at once cognitively. So he can intake what you are saying clearly while he is in deep thought about another subject. He likes to show off and be a bad ass, but he puts others' safety before his own. He cares for his friends and family. He will die to save what he cares about. He stands up for what he believes in and doesn't hesitate in the least in any aspect of his life. He is usually on his own or with only friends that he whole-heartedly trusts, which takes a lot, because he doesn't trust a lot of animals (Lions killed his sister.) Safi is usually with him (Little song bird.)
Biography: When Kanu was young, around 1 in lion years, A male lion took over the pride and chased off his father (former leader). Just like in a lion pride, the new male lion killed all of the cubs, including his younger sister. When this event was going on, his mother told him to run and hide and never return because the new male would surely kill him. So he hid in nearby rocks and foliage and watched as his family and friends were slaughtered. He soon left and started a new and uncertain life. He is now a loner and ever since, he doesn't trust most lions. It takes a lot for him to trust any animal. He promised himself that when he was older, he would return to chase off the lion that ruined his life and avenge his younger sister and family. The new male leader of his home pride beats his lionesses profusely most of the time and Kanu is outraged to even think about his life at home. Now he wanders around the Savannah as a loner, lost in his thoughts and plotting against his avenger.
Interests: He is interested in learning, exploring, and watching the world go by. He likes to wander around to new places. He is fascinated in storms, so you can usually find him in the rocks near the ocean (Ocean near his pride.) He has a very big interest in birds and most of the time, you can see one songbird with him. Most of the time she rides on Kanu. He trusts her more than anything. The songbirds name is Safi (Female).
