Angus quickly hopped off his brother, noticing he had stopped moving. 'No.. I didn't mean to kill him.' He held back some tears that were forming, knowing that by the huge cuts near his throat, it was impossible he could've lived through it. All Angus meant to do was prove that he was stronger than his pathetic little brother, yet had no intention of killing him. His pridemates surrounded him, questions and murmurs followed. "Isn't that the prince?" "Is his brother dead?!" "Did he do it?" Angus heard every one of these questions, and most of them were correct. He looked up, seeing his father was one of the members who came to see what was going on, and he glared at his son's blood on Angus. Although he was heartbroken, that cold glare let everyone know that what was going to happen next wasn't going to be good. Angus ran for his dear life, but his father was the stronger and faster one of the two. He had scarred him pretty badly, and held back killing him. That's when Angus knew he had the chance to choose: He could get killed for all he deserved, or abandon his family and pride. So he decided he just needed to run, and run before he was killed. "I promise I will never kill again... I am not ever going to be the killer I am now called today." This was the promise that kept him alive.
