This is a request/art trade with it means to worries!
First time drawing a lion in.... 2 years, I believe. Hopefully I will improve soon. I will put the finished version in when I can. Here is how it means to worries described Shuku.
Name: Shuku Gender: Male Mane Colour: black Fur Colour: dark brown Underbelly Colour: light brown Pridelander or Outlander Nose: there's a difference?? Type of background (Optional): empty Savannah Claws Sheathed or Unsheathed: unsheathed Scar(s): none Expression: dark, angry Stance: aggressive Time of day in the picture: night
Hopefully I can finish all described when I continue again.
It was actually really helpful, but it entertained me how you put it in a comic. Thanks a lot!
I also have one more small question. How did you get that front page so colorful? In the background of your gallery, you had a photo at the top. How did you do that?
You're very welcome! It was easy to do, to be honest.
Okay, so go up to "Settings" to the right of "Album". Scroll down just a little and it'll say "Show Album Header". Click the bubble that says "Yes". I tried multiple times to make an album header once and I couldn't, and the reason: I forgot to press the "Yes" bubble.
After that's done, make a picture you'd like to use, or a GIF, or anything else. Then press "Choose File" and type in the name you gave your file in. At the bottom of the "Settings" thing, press "Submit Changes".
Thank you! That would be great if you could do the tutorial thing. I am nearly finished with my drawing, and shading is next on the list. I do have microsoft paint as well, and any shading tutorial I bet will help.
Once again, thank you so much if you can teach me how you shade!
Thank you for letting me know that. They had asked what the difference was, and now they can know. ^^ I using Simba's nose as a reference, and the color of Kovu's nose for Shuku's. I do have a question though. They wanted an emtpy savannah background, and wanted the time of day to be night. Do you by any chance shade when you draw? If so, what do you do when you shade? I am hoping when I color this, I can add shading, but I am not entirely sure how I do it.
Thank you if you can help, and thank you for explaining the nose thing!
I do shade in my drawings. Since I use Microsoft Paint, my shading "strategy", I guess you could call it, might be different.
It's difficult to explain, so I'll make a little "shading tutorial" for you, if you'd like. At first, I didn't really shade my pictures but I realized it usually never takes a lot of time or anything.
