Appearance:
Shujaa has pale grey-brown fur. Her inner ears are pinkish and she has unusual white ear rims. Her underbelly is white and she has "uncoloured" paws. She has two scars across her muzzle. Her nose is a salmon pinkish colour. She has white eye shades and pale blue irises. She is a rather small lioness, and a bit pudgy, although she isn't very strong.
Personality:
Naive and gullible, Shujaa is easily manipulated. She always tries her best to help anyone in distress. She does know her limits though, and if she is told to back off, she do so. She is not a persistent lioness, however, and often loses hope easily. She's soft-spoken and shy, though, and often tries her best to avoid adult lions. The exceptions are her sisters and Mbaya. Shujaa is very obedient. She's quite sensitive and can get her feelings hurt easily.
History:
Shujaa, like Chaltuu and Kapuki, was treated quite stiffly and coldly by Kivuli. She was born weak, and many thought she would die- which prompted them to ignore her and not help her. She was hardly able to nurse from her mother, although she did finally manage.
Like Kapuki, while she was treated badly by her father, she did receive attention from her mother, even though those moments were rather uncommon. She still grew closer to her older sister, always sticking to Kapuki's side and depending on her to protect her. When Ua, their youngest sister, was born, Shujaa was surprised but pleased.
When Ua was taken away, Shujaa was disappointed and saddened by the loss of her sister, but when Ua was returned, she began taking care of the small cub alongside Kapuki. Once, when mentioning a lioness she had heard of named "Chaltuu", her father lost his temper and struck her. Kapuki promptly left, not wanting to suffer anymore abuse.
