When Scar's followers were first banished to the Outlands, it didn't take long until the resident termites became curious of the newcomers. They quickly took to hitching rides with the lions, perhaps seeking some kind of odd companionship. Zira was far less than pleased with these developments, not being too accepting of her newly-found 'friends'.
