The George is a very important place in the plot of the lion king, it is also a minor part in Simbas pride. The first time The Gorge gets introduced is when scar lied to Simba about his dad having a surprise for him. It is where Shenzi, Bonzai and Ed cause the stampede. The Gorge also gets introduced in many RP's and Fan fictions. In Simbas pride, Zira falls down into the Gorge when Kovu Breaks the dam. It is also the death place of Nuka
