My Lullaby

My Lullaby is a song featured in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, sung by Zira, Nuka and Vitani. The song goes over how Zira treats her enemies, and her plans for her son, Kovu, when he grows up. The song is based on the anger Zira builds up towards Simba, who killed her mate Scar. If you have watched the first movie, you would notice at the end it is similar to Hans Zimmer's song 'be prepared' as seen that Zira towers over the outlander lionesses. Another similarity to be prepared is that Scar's hate towards the hyenas is resembled to the way that they treat Nuka. The song is sung after the scene when Kovu meets Kiara. It is set in the Termite Mound of which the outlanders live in.
