The Selfish lion has a very thin, lank build. He has pale brown fur and a reddish-brown mane.

The "Selfish Lion", appears in the book "[[The Brightest Star]]". He can be portrayed as the main antagonist in the book as he hogs the water from the other animals causing [[Mohatu]] to look for a new source of water. It is said that even though he knows the animals are there he drinks slowly on purpose to make them wait longer, drinking more than his fill and in turn breaking the law.
