==Plot==
''A Kinglike Hair-Do'' begins with [[Simba]], the prince of [[The Pridelands|the Pridelands]], talking with his monkey-friend, [[Simon]]. Simba is laughing at Simon, saying, "Every time I see you, Simon, I can't help but to laugh!", and Simon responding by asking if it's his hair-do that makes the young [[lion]] cub laugh. But before Simba can respond, Simon continues talking, claiming that he's unique because of how he's the only monkey who wears his hair the way he does.

Simba then states proudly that he'll someday have a lion's mane like his father, [[Mufasa]], but Simon only laughs at this, saying a lion's mane is like a "bobble hat". Simba becomes annoyed at this, protesting that his father's hair-do is perfectly fine and that he's "kinglike", but Simon isn't bothered by this and continues his taunt by saying lions are too "lame" to be [[The Lion King (title)|king]] and that the reason they're so slow is because of their hair-do. Simon then says that he's faster than lions and has a better hair-do, so ''he'' should be king. He then starts to demonstrate his quick speed to Simba, but Simba isn't impressed, saying speed is no good reason to be king; one just needs to "act thoughtfully and exude calmness". But Simon just brushes Simba aside and decides to go to the river. But Simba doesn't let the monkey get away so easily and follows his friend to the river.

When the two get there, they hear a panicked call for help. Simba begins to worry over the desperate cry, but Simon just brushes it aside and refuses to get in the river, claiming that water damages his hair. But Simba is not bothered by the water and leaps in heroically to rescue the victim. As he searches through the water, he finds a young lemur trapped in the remains of a broken dam. Apparently, he/she was trying to cross the river, when a hippo jostled the dam he/she was standing on and the lemur was pushed into the water. As Simba begins to free him/her, Simon talks about how unneeded lemurs are and that "they're a dime a dozen". But Simba ignores him and continues to help the young lemur out of the broken dam. After a long struggle, Simba frees the lemur, with no help from Simon, and he/she thanks Simba gratefully.

Simba then leaves with Simon and the two come to a flock of flamingos and Simba comments on how beautiful they are. But Simon disagrees, saying "they have no hair on their heads". He then, to Simba's dismay, scares away all the flamingos, except for one. Simba then realizes that the one flamingo that was left behind was injured and that the others were just trying to protect him, so he calls all the other flamingos back and assures them that everything is alright. Simon is disgusted at Simba, calling him a "pussy cat", but Simba says that he's only trying to help an animal in need, just like his father, Mufasa, would have done. After they leave the flamingos in peace, the two friends come to a rope bridge.

Simon says that he'd rather watch Simba cross the bridge then cross the bridge himself, so Simba begins to cross the bridge alone. But the rickety, old bridge is unable to sustain Simba's weight and he falls through the rotten boards and crashes into the water below. He then spots water snakes slithering into the water after him and goes cold with fright, thinking he'll be poisoned and die! Simon begins to climb down the steep embankment to help Simba, but won't get into the water because of his hair-do. Simba begins to despair, when just in the nick of time, the animals Simba had rescued before (the lemur and the flamingos) swoop in and rescue him; and not too soon! When Simba is back on land with Simon, he's proud to say that swiftness doesn't matter to a king, but that helping others is twice as important! But, even after all the trauma, Simon still won't admit that a hair-do isn't important!
