Can Loki Be Forgiving?

Ok so I need all the Loki fans opinions on this cause I have a problem, that seems to bother me according to a Loki expert friend of mine.

Ive fallen in love with Loki for not even a year and my friend is a Loki expert as well and she has told me Loki is never forgiving, even not to his followers who done nothing to him but follow him, I know he is the god of Mischief, but Im finding it hard to wrap my head around that he is unforgiving even just a little, is this true and how can I accept this? I dont want to give up on him, but I take this personally
