Add One Scene to the Remake

Just curious. If you could add one scene not in the original to the remake, what would it be?

I'd probably add a scene where you see how Sarabi reacts when she hears Mufasa has died, like one on one with Scar or something. I feel like she was a good character and she didn't really get much story behind her. I would have liked to know if she tried to prevent Scar from taking the throne.

As much as I want to say Nala singing a "Shadowland"-like song as she leaves the Pride Lands, I would probably add a scene in which explains how Scar got his scar and became the psychopathic villain he's known for. It may take away some of the mystery from Scar, though.

Right after ‘can you feel the love tonight’ we get a short scene of Simba and Nala seeing the real Elton John in the jungle, playing the piano and singing. This is never referenced again.

but seriously, another scene involving Simba and Nala as cubs. One that shows they do care about each other beyond friendship. Doesn’t need to be romantic but one of the biggest criticisms of the movie is that they ‘fell in love too quickly’ as adults.

Everyone has nice suggestions I also think maybe we could have a scene that shows life under Scar’s rule and Nala’s decision to leave to go find help. Since it would be cool to have a short action scene of Nala sneaking away from Pride Rock and maybe even fighting off the hyenas that try to stop her. I kinda would just like to see more Nala scenes in general.

A scene of Mufasa overly punishing the hyenas for entering the Pridelands after the Morning Report to show that Mufasa is a rigorous and strict leader. Maybe contrast it with Scar’s ruling method, more laid-back and hands off. Showing the problems that come with a overly strict king and overly laid-back king might be a good thing for parents while giving Scar some room to develop as a character.

Some type of Scene of Sarafina and young Nala disusing Nala's Father. Perhaps even giving him a name. Just to firmly establish that Nala IS NOT Mufasa or Scar's daughter.
