My Lion King Forum

The MLKFAA (My Lion King Fan Art Albums) might get renamed to simply MLKA (My Lion King Albums). Although I realize the "Fan Art" portion is important, the name is so obviously similar to TLKFAA (The Lion King Fan Art Archive), a fact which has remained even though it was admittedly unintentional. ^^

So we might rename MLKFAA to something like MLKA. The banner will have something like:
My Lion King Albums
a lion king fan art gallery

Something like that. It wouldn't be difficult to rename, so I don't really see a problem with it. Do you?

I don't see a problem with MLKFAA as the name. Afterall it's Fan-art ALBUMS not Fan-art ARCHIVE. If the noobs wanna cry and moan about it let them. There is a big name difference that I don't see a problem with

Hmm.. I see the problem, but I have to agree with Kash. It's just bad luck that "Albums" and "Archives" start with the same letter lol. It does indeed sound like a ripoff of TLKFAA. But there's a certain ring to MLKFAA that I like... However if you want to change it to something else go ahead lol. You're the admin hehe. ^^

Well thanks for the comment, Amanda! Even if we do change the name, people can still call it MLKFAA, because that's what it is. My Lion King Fan Art Albums...that's just what it is.

Well no one has really moaned about the name, but I felt it was just too similar perhaps newcomers would get confused.

I honestly love MLKFAA, so I don't know...
