I personally am not 100% on it. Could be Native American... but also could be foreign. My bloodline has a lot of nationalities in it. Jewish; Irish; Polish; Cherokee; Netherlands?; Scottish; possibly French and Spanish.
Based on research to the name, looks more of a Spanish origin, but has more of a French pronunciation.
Spanish for meaning "Peacekeeper," and French for being said like "genre." That and Young is a Jewish thing. So my name has a bunch of nationalities and languages in it.

Ya know something I just noticed, how similar Gia from Madagascar 3 and Fuli from TLG look.

I was just curious because I had heard the name before but I never got the chance to look it up. It's interesting that you're bloodline has more than one nationality to it. Mine is all one nationality, basically because my relatives believe it's better to get married to someone of the same nationality or religion.... I find that odd.

I'm more of who you like, preferably similar nationality... or better put as same spiritual beliefs, should be who you go after. But that shouldn't be the deciding matter. Religiously, most of my bloodline was either Christian or Jewish for the most part.
I myself am Messianic. We do most Jewish things, but we do acknowledge Christ rose and do customs and such He started.

That's cool, actually.
My family believes that if you are to marry anybody, anybody at all, they have to be Muslim or at least convert to Islam. I don't believe that should be the case. If you wish to marry someone of a different culture background or religion, it is okay to stick with your own and let them follow whatever they want to. I don't like being forced to change for somebody else, so even if I were to get married, I would never change my religion unless my heart told me to do so.
