So I'm having a few technical difficulties with my tablet and not only do I need it for my classes, I also need it if I'm going to get back to doing commissions and what not.
I recently got a mac and I installed the software for my intuos5 on it and the tablet moves and works like that, but when I try to draw in photoshop, the pressure does not work. D: I've fiddled with the settings a whole bunch and even reinstalled the software, but it still refuses to work.
So if anyone has a mac and maybe knows something about how to work a tablet, then please, please tell me what to do! :'D I would be so grateful.
Thanks!

Ya might have to explore your CD-ROM that came with the tablet.
Ya should look for something called TABLET DRIVER or SOFTWARE. Should be all caps. a Folder labeled it, open it, and look for a exe for dmg file for MAC in this case. Try running that, and see if it helps ya. If it works out. You should have to restart your Mac. Then ya ought to be good to go.
I have a DigiPro 8x6 and use Win XP. I had to do that to get my pressure to work. My icon was a blue tablet symbol.

Thanks Time~

My mac doesn't have a disk drive, so I downloaded the driver off of their website. But I'll give that a go. I may have accidentally installed the wrong driver but we'll see. XD

??? What Mac doesn't have a disk drive?!
I don't think you can get the specific drive file that way honestly. But worth a go. If ya got 7-zip or something like. You ought to be able to open up the dmg/exe file ya have and explore it for the file ya need. Exract, and install.
Can't guarantee this though.
Darn... well, try some Googling about it?

*face palm to mac, but win 8 tablet are just as bad, likely worse.
They have 1.4GHz for processing, the OS needs 1.4GHz to run, it needs another 1.0GHz to run it's touchscreeness, and another 1.5GHz to handle everything else. In all, you need 3.9GHz to have it run properly, you get 1.4Ghz, talk fail for Microsoft.
Ummm, what's your tablet called exactly, dimensions, etc. Like mine is a DigiPro 8x6" Wired with Wireless Stylus Pen, which I had to replace the pen. My first one decided to disintegrate for no logical reason. Drawing one second, and bleh.... the next. WTH?!
12 bucks to find a pen that might work. Trying it out now. Hope it works!

My tablet is an intuos5. It's pretty fancy. It's like the largest one they have.
I haven't gotten around to talking to the fix it people. I've been so busy. TT n TT

What version is your Mac OS?
Have you recently updated to the newest version of the driver?
You ought to see what version of the driver you have on your Windows machine. And try getting that version.
You need to do it!

Also, in PS, if the pressure sensitivity works elsewhere, make sure you enable the pen pressure, but this is in CS6. Though I had to do that once with PS7 too.
Hope it helps.
