Battle

The battle raged and raged. The thunder boomed and lightning shot across the sky. Busajja was barking orders at his rogues as he fought ruthlessly.
"Unsheathe your claws, Dhakiya! Etana, claw his chest! Tindo, use your weight against him! Monifa, Isibanda, fight as a pair! Safari and Ianthinus, drive your enemies back into the bushes! Do whatever you can to defeat your opponents!" he bellowed.
Imithi, Arida, and Mimea were using their herbs to help treat the injured ones. They were driving any enemies that tried to take their herbs away.
"Retreat!" the lead lioness of the enemy pride yowled.
The rogues pursued the retreating lionesses until the enemies were completely gone. Arida, Imithi, and Mimea started to clean up their scattered herbs. The rogues were stretching and flexing their claws. The fight had been brutal.
Just as they prepared to leave, another huge group of lionesses rushed down the hill. Most of the lionesses were the ones in the previous battle, but there were many more. Busajja bared his teeth. "Attack, my rogue combatants, attack!"
The rogues plunged into battle once more, spitting insults and threats at their attackers. Busajja fought off a few lionesses and bounded over to Kurami. "Kurami," he muttered in the blind lioness's ear. "Gather some of your friends and go raid the cub den. Then run back to camp. Do not come back to the fight. I will see you after the battle."
