The time has finally come. About time the Princess of the Diamondlands, princess Kelsey, announced the acceptance of my brother Finn's proposal to her and his future as king. Her pink tail showed up, and soon she was standing on the Large Boulder. Her smile lit up all of Africa, and her dark brown gaze was easing and gentle. Everyone started to chatter, as Kelsey did not hold meetings unless the news was really bad or really good.
"Hello, everyo-"
The brewing storm took it's full advantage, and lightning fell from the sky...and struck the princess. Everyone gasped. There was pink fur all over the place and it spread quickly that she was dead.
But then the brightness disappeared, and there stood a lioness with a pelt blacker then the blackest night, and red markings the color of your blood. Her eyes were white, and no pupils, no iris either...
The harsh truth, it was the princess.
"She's gone hostile!" One of the guards called.
White flames arose, and she became airborne, white flames seeming to lick her, yet not burn her. A white fireball shot at the guard, and killed him on contact. All the mothers told their cubs to run for their lives, and they did. Smooth move, for soon all the lionesses were dead. Now only the males and guards were left, including me.
""You know, you do have time to run."" Said a double voice coming from the hostile beast.
"You killed Pierra!" I shouted.
""I know I did, now it's your turn!""
Soon, all the guards, even Finn was dead. All I had was a cut from my eye. Shocked, spazzed and tired, I made the good move to run, and watch her snap out of it.
"Huh-wha-what happened? Pierra? No! Finn! Oh...this is all my fault!" She cried.
"No, princess, it was the fault of mother nature." I called from atop the hill. Come on, let's go. The cubs ran away before anything happened...
Let's restart our lives."
