Poems - a collection from DIG.

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock

Time passes by,
yet I still remain.
Time slips by,
It never refrains.
Melodic and simple,
Time always kills,
what is inside me.
I just hope someday,
somebody will see.
When I wake up at three,
I play lovingly.
My lover sits next to me,
not even realizing,
what it is she needs.
Even love,
is notwhat she pleeds.
It's time.
Yet,
Time slips by,
It doesn't even have to try.

Remaining Love

Why is it love that will always remain,
Even when you are Lonely,
Love can keep you sane,
Holding her Lovingly.

On a spring day I would meet her,
I run up to where she is standing,
She wonders why I am there,
When you should be in the landing.

Love will always stay.
That can't be stopped.
Yet, most know this is okay.
Love can't be topped.

Wow. Awesome poem. Ya know, I can play guitar. If you want, I can put it to music. :sing3: :sing4: Why is poetry easy for everyone but me? :roar6:

Writting poems definately is not easy. I'm still a beginner at writting them, and I've been trying to find out how to write them for a while. All I can suggest is trying to write, and keeping the beat. It's just like writting a song, there has to be some sort of consistancy to it. When you write it, you should try preforming it out, and seeing if it sounds good. The easiest form of poetry is freestyle, which is what that poem I wrote is.

Also, if you really want to get into poetry I suggest studying someone like Robert Frost, or William Shakespear.
