I would actually enter an OT writting contest. But it doesn't seem like you've thought this out. How do we enter?
Just have it be the same rules as the TLK writing contest except not TLK and I would be in. Also 1500 words isn't really enough.

I did have 4000 as the limited but there was some miscommunication, leading to it being lowered temporarily. The limit has been restored to 4,000.

You need to add a rule that all stories should include at least 1 (one) genderfluid LGBTQWERTY+/otherkin character of mixed race/gender for the sake of inclusivity. Come on y'all, it's 2018

The rule isn't needed as the inclusive culture of MLK sufficiently promotes it already.
