I don't know how far the contest went before, and this is starting anew, so we'll begin at number 1. For this contest, you can write fan fiction (for anything that isn't TLK) or you can write your own original story. The subject matter is entirely up to you, and there will be no prompts at all for this round. In the future, I may add some prompts as suggestions to help get the idea ball rolling, but they will not be mandatory. The rules are as follows:

• Stories must be at least 1000 words in length, but should not exceed 4000 (a few words over will be fine)
• In accordance with site rules, they must be rated no higher than PG-13, nothing too explicit people!
• Cannot be plagiarized, or something you wrote previously

To submit a story, PM it to me by the 25th of July (I will post the voting round on the morning of the 26th). The voting round will remain open until the first of next month so that I can start a regular cycle of beginning the contest on the first each month. So, other than that, have fun and happy writing!

You've got about a week left guys, and only one story in so far! I'd prefer if we don't need an extension the first time.

I'll have something in by the end of the week.

I'm trying to write something. Maybe I'll do a different story than what I had originally planned, just so I can get it in on time.

I'm still going to attempt an entry BTW! My brain has just forgotten how to write stuff that isn't TLK fanfiction xD

Edit: An idea has been concieved! I shall begin work on it in earnest!

Alright guys, I've got two stories in, and you've got roughly 2 days left to write! We technically have enough for a contest now, but it would be nice to see a few more! If you're almost finished with one when time's about up, let me know, I'll wait a few hours or a couple of days. I know we had a shortish writing period this time after all.

I have been asked to extend the deadline until the end of Sunday, the 26th, so I will post the voting round early Monday. Gives you guys an extra day to get stories in!
