A Series of Short Stories

A Series of Short Stories

Postby UncoordinatedPisces » April 19th, 2014, 5:57 pm

I have found my project for the summer holidays! I have ten weeks off this year, so I wanted to have a writing project lined up. I don't want to take on the task of starting a novel, so instead, I settled for writing practice.

I shall be doing a series of short stories (each around 5,000 words each most likely) based off plots created by a tarot card spread. This tarot spread involves seven cards, each card represents a different aspect of the story.

the spread: show
I - the protagonist
II - the protagonist's background
III - the conflict
IV - the setting
V - the protagonist's hopes and fears
VI - the protagonist's response to the conflict
VII - the final outcome

~ Below this you'll find some of the ideas that were created from the tarot spread ~

First Reading: show
~ Knight of Swords ~
~ Two of Cups ~
~ Knight of Wands ~
~ The Hanged Man ~
~ Page of Swords ~
~ Four of Swords ~
~ Three of Wands ~

Thank you, Si :3

I'm looking forward to writing them, hopefully the cards won't give me anything too tricky to interpret xD
