Balto, my love

Oh how I love the sound of your howl

As a puppy, the sound of wolf howls frightened me

Now things are different

The sound is like music to my ears

Each time I hear it, I think of our love

It is such a beautiful and haunting sound

An expression of the wild within each of us

Each time it comes to my ears, I get a chill down my spine

You are such a delight to me

For the rest of our days, I shall cherish your memory
