A complete revamp of my anthro Star Wars fic. It is placed here despite having TLK characters in it because of the presence of other characters. No bashing or flaming please.

Anthro Star Wars


Prologue


The galaxy was in a state of war. The new danger was a new Dark lord of the Sith, Darth Trucidus. This enemy was formerly the tiger Jedi named Shere Khan. In the past, Shere Khan had been a powerful Jedi knight, but he was also arrogant and rebellious. When the infamous war known to galactic history as the Mandalorian Wars erupted, Khan was one of several Jedi who rebelled against the Jedi Council and went to fight. Shere Khan proved to be a military genius, and the war was won by the Jedi and the Republic. However, this was the beginning of his corruption.

Following the victory, Shere Kahn took off into the galaxy’s outer rim, where he eventually arrived on the Sith tombworld of Korriban. While there, he fell under the sway of the spirits of ancient Dark lords of the Sith and the then reigning Sith lord, Darth Traya. After learning all he could from her, he betrayed her and abandoned her. It was at that time that Shere Khan, Jedi Knight, became Darth Trucidus, Dark lord of the Sith. Upon returning from Korriban, he launched his war against the galactic government.

At the Jedi temple on Coruscant, four young Jedi, a male lion named Simba, a lioness named Nala, a male husky/wolf hybrid named Balto and a female husky named Jenna train hard. Little do they know that soon, destiny will call them to save an entire galaxy. Each of them will have to use their skills with a lightsaber and their abilities with the Force in order to bring peace to the Republic.

you could just as easily call him Darth Kahn (KAHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Well, I chose Trucidus, which is an adaptation of a Latin word, for it's meaning, which is "Cruel killer". It fits because of what he does in the upcoming first chapter.

I didn't realize you had all this planned out.

So, how, exactly, does a lion manage to wield a lightsaber?

That's why they're anthros in this. They stand upright, use their paws as hands and so on.

No, I actually like hearing feedback. It's just that I've had the name "Trucidus" picked out for quite some time. It was a fitting name for him. I'm also working on his apprentice.

Humanoid lions? That's awesome.

A 500 pound lion with a lightsaber and force powers is enough to strike fear into any sith lord.

Yep, though the anthros in this are a little closer to human weights and so on, but that really isn't mentioned. Anyway, I'm working on the first chapter now. It introduces the main characters and sets up the story. Regarding Darth Traya's identity, that won't be revealed until later.
