Setting: Set right after the end of Bambi when Bambi himself looks down on his kids and Faline from the cliff this story will show the lives of his children. It is set in the same forest Bambi grew up in. It will include the lives of his fawns that very closely resembles his own life.

Faline and her fawns soon woke up. It was early morning and Faline wanted to show her fawns all of the animals of the forest. Faline went ahead with her children Geno and Gurri. "Come on my little fawns come with me and keep close." They passed by many animals who said hi to them such as the squirrel, the chipmunk, the quails, the oppossums, and the mole. Faline watched the little fawns continue on their way. Soon they reached very tall grass. "Make sure to not trip on the grass okay?" She knew that Geno was very good at tripping on things just like his father. She missed Bambi and knew though he was always watching them she barely saw him anymore. She wondered what he was up to now being the Great Prince of the Forest.

Geno followed his mother and sister excitedly. Out of him and his sister, he was the more curious one, but he ressembled his father not only by his appearence, he also behaved alot like him. He was always energetic and playful. As he walked with his mother and sibling, he couldn't stop hopping around and walking in circles.
He always tripped the grass, among other things, making his sister tease him a little. But they both loved ebeing in each other's company. As they reached the tall grass he ran ahead, like he always did, ignoring his mom's warning he tripped and fell again. Besides his sister, he had no one else to play and spend his time with. He hoped that maybe today he and his sister could meet new friends

Faline went throught the grass turning her head around to hear predators, mainly man. She looked at her fawns and hoped they would never have to deal with a danger like that but she doubted it. She knew and hoped that Bambi would protect their fawns. Gurri looked at her brother, still not able to talk yet, and motioned for him to come on. This was such a new world for her and she could not wait to explore it. She waited for Geno and hoped he heeded mother's advice not to trip on the grass. She looked forward barely seeing through the grass. Something came out of the bushes but instead of man it was Long Ears, Thumper's son. "Ha scared you didn't I!" Faline reprimanded him saying, "Didn't your father teach you about the dangers around here?"

Long Ears jumped in surprise. His father did warn him about the dangers for little creatures his age, but he never came to ever feeling like danger was around. He was relieved to see it was just Faline. But his relief faded away as Faline posed her question. "Of course he did miss Faline," he said grabbing one of his ears with his hand, like his father always did when he sensed he was in trouble "But I didn't think a little creature like me could be spotted in here."

Faline sighed and whispered to Long Ears so that her fawns would not be scared. "Every one of us can and would be killed by man." She calmed down a little and looked toward her fawns. "Have you come to play with Geno and Gurri? Is that why you are here?" Gurri looked and saw this new character on the scene. Not able to talk yet all she could do was make grunts. Faline nuzzled her fawns and told them, "Stay in the forest Geno and Gurri. I will be watching you from over there." She pointed to the end of the clearing.

Long ears shrinked a little and looked at Faline who was above him by height. "I'll try to be more careful from now on." he said with his innocent tone.
"Oh, can I play with them?" He asked, turning from scared to excited in less then a second.
Enjoying his mother's nuzzle, Geno turned around and began running around the grass. As he turned around to see what was his mother and Long Ears doing, he tripped the grass and landed on his stomach again.

Faline saw Geno fall down again but just still watched them knowing that he would be fine. She laughed again noticing how close he was to his father. Gurri on the other hand reminded Faline of her about that age. She looked off into the vast unknown wondering what the Great Prince was doing...Meanwhile, Gurri saw Geno fall down again and did a little sigh. She motioned for Long Ears to help her pick him up. She got to one side and tried to pick him up.

Long Ears understood Faline's motioning and walked over to Geno, pushing him upwards as much as he could with his nose, untill he was too high for him to reach to.

Faline watched the situation before her and laughed. Gurri also tried to help Long Ears by pushing Geno before him. It was then she said her first words. "Come on!"
