Sharai began eating as well. Although she didn't mean to be rude, she couldn't help but stare at Night's crooked wing. Lots of thoughts were going through her head, such as if it hurt, when it would heal... if it would heal.

Suddenly a weird, loud noise was heard. A large bird-like object came swooping in from the sky...

Sharai stared up at the huge, enormas bird-like thing. Her mouth hung open a little, completely gobsmacked. "Wha...wha...wha..." she wimpered.

Night was struck with fear. He knew what that was, but could only open his mouth and say... "g-g-g-g-gget away, Sharai!"

But Sharai had frozen with terror as well. Her bottom lip trembled, her pupils diluted and her heart pounded against her chest.

Night pushed Sharai just as the great thing flew by above their heads, nearly blowing their eardrums out with the noise. Night was blown over by the wind generated by the thing...

Sharai was in deep shock. Her claws were dug into the ground, her eyes as wide as saucers. Although the danger had past, she thought to herself that she mustn't move.
