Valo, Spirit, Night, Navi and Sno were all in separate cages. The cages were to keep them captive in the laboratory, where they were being used for scientific experiments. Presently, the lights were turned on at their brightest as the scientists milled around, in preparation to perform another experiment.

Night, the winged cheetah, glanced at Vado and said quietly "Any ideas?"

Valo, being the big liger he is he looked around and sighed lightly, glancing over at Night as he spoke and He shrugged, being in a cramped place was really getting the worst of him and not being able to watch his baby sister Spirit made him more angry.

“I don’t know…” He replied back quietly, watching his little sisters cage, where she lay there sleeping. “But we have to get out…” He added looking around to see what they could possible use as a escape.

Night watched closely at the scientist who had a syringe in his hand.

"They don't know we can talk and stuff..." Night whispered to Valo, "I bet there's something in that syringe that'll put him right to sleep. Try to get it from him if you can." Night watched closely.

Valo stood up in his very small cramped cage, not being able to walk around in it it’s that small, and He yawned lightly catching the man’s attention, smirking lightly he fell back down onto the cage floor acting as if he fainted. The man come closer, and the needle was so close, Valo opened a eye, and head butted the cage door, knocking the needle into the man’s arm, the man giving Valo a weird look before fainting. Valo looked over at Night and smirked.

“Now what?” He asked wanting to get out of that cage, not taking his eyes off his little sister who was waking up now.

Night reached out of his cage and took the man's keyring between his cheetah toes. He used both paws and managed to unlock his cage. He hopped out and then freed Valo, and proceeded to free Spirit, Sno and Navi before the other men returned.

Valo got out of his cage quickly, and his sister ran over to him, hugging his huge leg, he smiled leaning down and licking her face before standing back up and stretching.

“Okay, come on, I know the way out” He spoke before picking up his sister by the ruff of the neck and starting off down a hallway, looking back making sure the others followed.

“Where we going Valo?” Spirit asked and Valo smiled placing the cub on his back.

“Away from this horrible place princess” He replied and the young cub smiled clinging to his back as he lead the way to a window a little high up, boxes under it, he climbed up on the boxes and waited holding the window open more for the others. “Come on, quick, before they see were gone”

Night, Sno and Navi exited via the window and looked around. They were in a back alley full of gross things. Navi already had a piece of paper stuck to her hindpaw with some gum. "Yuck" she said, unsuccessfully trying to get if off.

Valo chuckled as he climbed out, placing his sister onto the floor, He stretched while yawning finally getting to move his huge body.

“God I nodded that” He spoke laughing lightly; Spirit looked up at him, and then the cheetahs.

“Where do we go now?” She asked in her tiny quiet like voice. Valo looked at the cheetahs and then looked around.

“Uhhh… I don’t know, but we aint free yet, we need to get away from this place… it’s a really good job it’s the middle of the night,, no people will be around, well hardly…” He spoke looking around and looking down at Spirit.
