Calestah was already awake and snuggled aginst her fathers Chest. Darks soft chestfur and the warmth made her purr slightly. But after a few minutes just laying in the den she tryed to wke him up. The beige colored cub bit in his ear and jumped on his head to awake him. After Calestah noticed she maybe awoke him the cub sat down in frontt of his head.

Dark woke up, yawned, and strecthed. He looked at Calestah with care. Hello, Cale. Have a nice sleep? Dark asked his daughter. Dark was a biege colored lion with a scar on his right eye. Most lions and lionesses said that he was somehow related to Scar, AKA Taka. A brother of King Mufasa that lived long ago. Dark highly doubted it, since he acted nothing like Scar. He lived with his daughter on the line that seprated the outlands and the pridelands. Dark's mate, Sikira, was killed in a fight. Dark leaned towards Cale, and gave her a lick on the head.

Calestah smiled at her father and giggled when he licked her head. She liked it when he did this.
She looked at him with her Ice blue eyes and spoke softly.
"Yes Daddy i slept well ... well but I'm hungry." With her last words she turned around to exit then den.
She looked at a Grassland which was drying out even more. The Pridelands and the outlands were not far away from there it was nearly in the middel of both lands. The ground was warm and the sun shined hard on her beige fur.
"Come on daddy!!!!!" she yelled back in the den while going under a tree.

Dark quickly got up, and walked a normal pace to where his daughter was. The blistering heat was sickening. It was drying up everything. There had not been a weather like this in years. When Dark reached his daughter, he sat down to rest. It was really cool out the night before. Dark liked this weather. He glanced down at the cracked ground beneath his paws. Tinly little weeds were sprouting out from the cracks, but only a little. Dark wondered how even a leaf would survive in the heat. He looked at Calestah and said,Shall we go hunting? Dark half smiled at his daughter.

Calestah knew it could take a while until they would find something to hunt but she was very hungry and her belly rumbled. So she decided to go hunting with her father. She raised with her hind legs and stretched herself.
After her stretching she went next to Dark.
"Ok Daddy lets go hunt ... if we'll find something" then her happy smile turned into a sad face and she hung her head. Her Paws hurt from the dry and hard ground so she climbed up on darks back and layed down in the fluffy mane.

Dark looked back at his daughter, who had just hopped up onto his back. Dark was a little old for this, but he was atleast strong enough to carry Calestah upon his back. She was four months, and was already so strong, and beautiful. Sikira didn't want her to be evil, but he was so selfish, he trained her. Dark got up on all fours to support his back. He started to walk a good and far distance, until he spotted a water buffelo. Dark turned his head, and said,Calestah! Look at that!

Calestah looked hesitately left and right and saw what her father ment. She licked her muzzle and kept her mouth open.
"Oh wow what a meal.... daddy can i help you hunting this buffalo pls?"
She knew her father would say no and your to young for hunt but she tryed it everytime her father took her to hunt with him. The beige colored cub went up to Darks head and looked hopeful n his eyes.

Suddenly an explsoion came from their small pride. Smoke and fire began to engulf the peaceful land. Smaller explosion bgan breaking out. There was no doubt, they were under attack. But from what? What could cause such chaos and destruction?

Dark twitched at the lound noise. He twisted his ears around to obserbve where it was coming from. Then he saw smoke, not too far from where he was. Dark saw tons of Zebras running around, helplessly. Dark was hungry, and tired. What did he care, all he wanted was some breakfast. Dark groaned, rolled his eyes and started to walk slowly towards the chaos.

Calestah was scared and holed up in Darks Mane. She widened up her eyes and shiverd. The beige furred cub listened to the scarry noises.
"D..d..daddy what is this im scarred .... dont go there please"
She stucked her still small head to see from what the noises came from. But Calestah was to scarred and pulled her head in again.
