(I'd like to rejoin this RP, if that's ok with you guys ^^ I'm not really sure how I'll jump back in, so if you have any suggestions that'd be awesome)

(Sure you can hun =) Your two characters could come across any of the two situations. Ash is off wandering, but will soon return to the others and Gabriel and Sam are currently being robbed xD)

Ashelin had ran through the streets and through the parks trying to put as much distance between herself and the hospital as possible. For a few moments on leaving the hospital she had frozen, debating on going back, but the fools had made their choice... Why did she care if they got taken away and robbed? Shaking her head, Ash had fled and ended up in Hyde park.

The park was pitch black as she wandered through and even thought 99% of the human race had been wiped out, she still felt on edge. Instinct told her to rest a hand on the holster at her side and that itself gave her confidence as she walked through the park. She was on edge and on passing a small cluster of trees a bird took off from one of the hedges there. Ash pulled the gun from the trigger sending a loud 'bang' through the air.

"Damn bird..." Ash muttered realizing what she'd just shot.

The couple awoke with a start. The horses that belonged to them stirred and neighed loudly. Edward instinctively shot up and clutched Rhian's shoulder firmly, as if someone was about to snatch her away. Rhian had a startled expression etched upon her face that matched Edward's exactly. The couple were young and vulnerable, and they knew that was a gun shot. The 18 and 16 year olds didn't really know how to approach the situation.

"Eddie..." Rhian whispered in a clearly panicked tone. Edward didn't reply. He picked up his jacket and slid it on. His shoes were put on with little effort and with a shaky hand, he picked up his knife. He put it in his pocket. Rhian went to stand up and get changed herself but Edward put a hand out to stop her.

"Rhian, stay here". The love of his life frowned. She was as pale as a ghost with nerves, but she wasn't about to let him go out and investigate on his own. He clutched her shoulder a little harder before leaving the tent. As soon as he left she began getting changed again. She had to go comfort the horses, and make sure Edward didn't get into trouble.

The young man ventured outside. His eyes trailed towards where the horses were tied. They were still ok, he could see them both in the moonlight. Nervously, he began to look around. There was nothing obviously different about Hyde Park, until he saw a figure. A female figure at that. He wasn't as panicky, but she might of been the one who fired the gun. An armed person was a threat to him, and he could only arm himself with a knife. He hoped to not make himself noticed.

One of the men watched Gabriel for a moment, then turned to Sam and inspected him.

"This kid doesn't look sick to me, but I don't know whats wrong with you" The man said, folding his arms across his chest.

One of the others kicked Gabriel in the side causing him to fall over onto his side. That made the leader of the little group laugh and the others joined in as they watched the poor man cough on the floor.

"I think we should leave him here boss. He must be carrying the virus and we can't bring it back to HQ"

"Alright fine. He's dead anyway. Let's go" The leader said, turning to leave.

"No! YOU CAN'T LEAVE HIM!!! NO! LET ME GO...GABRIEL, GABRIEL!!!!!" Sam yelled as the men began to pull him out of the room by the shirt.

Ash looked around the dark park, her eyes desperate to pick up any sign of movement, but she couldn't see a thing through the black. Cussing to herself, she began to walk forward in the couples direction unknowingly. Every step she took was silent, though her breathing sounded rather loud even if her footwork was silent.

Ashelin then heard a distant whicker of a horse and lowered the gun slightly. Was it horses making the noise all along? But if there were horses here still... There would be humans to look after them. The gun came up again and she continued towards Edward.

Gabrield leant on a wall for support as this fake cough actually turned into a proper one.

Dammit! I shouldn't have done that. But what choice did I have?

But he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his ribs which caused his body to go into shock. He collapsed in a heap and started to gasp for breath, his eyes widening in fear. He then heard Sam yelling at him as was dragged away by the gang of Men. Gabriel lifted his eyes but his eyes wouldn't focus properly.

S***! Sam!! No. Come back!

In his panicked state, his breathing became a lot worse. He closed his eyes. He had to get this breathing under control. If he didn't, he couldn't be of any use to anyone. After a while, his breathing slowed enough for him to stand up slowly. He swayed on the spot as his eyes tried to re-adjust. He then hobbled towards the room which had been completely trashed. Fortunately enough for him, they hadn't taken his gun and they hadn't taken his medication. Just paracetamol. Chances are they didn't even know what his medication was and thought it was some type of poison. Maybe they were right in some respects.

Gabriel grit his teeth. He had let Sam down. He couldn't let them take him away. He needed to go after him. He then stopped and his face turned pale. Out there? In the unknown? He wouldn't stand a chance. What good could he do? He was a sickly guy. He wouldn't last five minutes out there. But...there was someone who could. He quickly turned to the fire exit that would take him to the roof. As he reached it, he picked up a small flare gun that he had been keeping for emergencies. And this was an emergency.

Ash. You had better come quick

He pointed it to the air and fired. A red spark shot out and hovered in the sky for a while. Gabriel closed his eyes and prayed that Ash would see the signal. He needed her help.

"What the hell was that?!" One of the men said, halting to see the flare shoot up into the air.

Sam looked up and wondered if it was some sort of weapon, that maybe Gabriel was ok and was coming to help him. But the flare merely fell to the ground and out of view.

"He's probably trying to scare us.. MOVE OUT! NOW!" The leader yelled and the moment of savior had left as Sam felt himself being taken away once again. The boy just prayed that Gabriel was alright and that he was safe.

Out in the park, Ash was becoming more and more on edge as nobody appeared after a few moments. The end of her gun however was sudden;y aiming up at the sky when she saw it. A red flare climbing into the air and what was worse... it was coming from the hospital. At first glance, Ash assumed it to be a trap. Something to lure her in, but then.. It could also be a beacon used for calling aid.

She stood there for a moment, contemplating on her next move. Run for the flare and hope it was Sam or Gabriel calling her for aid. But then... She warned them... Why should she care? Ashelin re holstered her pistol and stormed off into the night, but after a few steps she came to a halt. Never leave a man behind... That is your duty as a soldier The words had gone right through her and she stood on the spot for a moment, before spinning round and bolting for the hospital.

"I must be crazy..." She muttered as she ran.

Gabriel watched as the flare hovered in the sky for a while and hoped and prayed that Ash would see it and would realise that he needed help. He couldn't rescue Sam alone and Ash seemed to know how these gangs thought. Without her, he wouldn't know where to start. He turned on his back on the flare and ventured back inside, collecting weapons and medication that he would need for this outing. But he would come back. He couldn't leave himself exposed out there for long, especially with the weather turning cold. He grabbed a scarf and wrapped it round his nose and mouth so only his eyes were showing. He then waited, saying prayers in his head while he did.
