"Wait." Mauti said. She noticed she had feelings for him. "My parents won't know. I'm coming with you."

Damu's jaw dropped open and he turned. "What was that?" he asked.

"I said I'm COMING with you!" Mauti growled.

There was a screech. "You shouldn't question a princess." Said a bird.

"Ugh." Mauti said, looking at the crow. "What do you want Gunjae?"

OOC: Gunjae = Crow version of Zazu.

Damu growled at the bird. "And just who are you?" he asked.

"Like that blue and cream bird that died a while ago. It doesn't matter who the priderock he is." Mauti spat. She was a toughie.


[meanwhile, the 'evil' lion in the shadows]

The black lion watched. "Whew, boys." He whispered. He was in the pridelands side, but was an outlander. He was hiding in a bush. "She's a hottie. It's true. I will be king, and she'll be my queen."

Damu turned towards home. "Well, shall we go on?" he asked.

Mauti nodded royally.

The bird flew way.

And so, the trek into the Outlands began. "Welcome to scenic nowhere," he said as they walked.

"I can see that." Mauti commented. "Not as fresh as the pride lands, but I can picture prey."

Damu continued walking. "It's nice enough, if you don't mind long stretches of dust and cracked ground along with termites," he said.
