He fought both King Levi and Queen Aleena several times in the war, surviving more times than anyone else. The last battle, Levi's Trident electricuted him. Patrick had to undergo life saving partial robotization. His arms, legs, torso and right eye were cybbernetic. He still respected his old adversaries and prayed they would be victorious, or god help all of Mobius.
