Steele looked at her. "Well, I hope someone finds you soon," he said as he walked off. Just then, the man who owned Jenna's parents came out and picked her up. "Come on, let's get you out of the cold," he said.

Jenna whined as she was picked up. If anyone came to adopt her, she wanted to be the first to see them.

Balto looked down sadly. They had looked everywhere for his mother and had not found her. "I guess I have to come with you," he said. He thought about it for a moment. "I can look for food in the area around us," he said.
