Hope Keeps Us Moving [PRIVATE]

Ok, the plot revolves around Philip and Syrena, after POTC4. They have seven new-laid eggs. But a mermaid hunter/pirate kills most of the eggs and takes a few with him, leaving them devastated. Phillip and Syrena are always searching for their children, when they find the slayer. They find out that he plans to slaughter a huge mermaid clan, attack a british providence, and blame it on the mermaids so they will be further hunted. They will try to stop him.

Syrena came above the water's surface. It was finally over with. The island where her husband sat was covered in nice, damp sand. The sunrise shone over it and cast his long shadow on top of a number of small balls.
"Philip," she said, "here they are," The seven eggs floated just below the water level, and you could plainly see the wiggling forms. She was very proud.

Philip moved closer to Syrena, hearing her shy but proud voice, he eyed the eggs and smiled warmly. He was very happy to be a father now. "They're lovely." He commented, "I'm sure our girls will be as beautiful as you." He was proud himself that he had learned something about Syrena's race, all girls.

"Will they hatch soon?" He asked. He reached over to pick on up to look at more closely.

"Less than one of your human years," she replied. She touched each translucent spiral egg gently. "Philip," she said, "You are a human. Who is to say that none of them will be male?"

Philip picked up the spiral egg Syrena had touched, he laid it down in the sand gently as he watched it. "Its just very unlikely, mermaids seem to have to reproduce by humans, and I've never seen a male." He explained his thought of reason. He remembered on White cap bay, one of the pirates had commented that it was their mating season. It had always made Philip wonder about Syrena a little, but he knew she was honest.

OCC: Cool! And sure! Those look pretty! ^^

"No," she said. "No." She did not explain further, and she had no intention to. "It just might be possible, though," She leaned forward, and put her arms around him.

[Question]

Philip smiled as he felt her warmth, he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer. "If you say so."

Off in the distance a ship seemed to be comming towards the small island...

She followed his gaze. "Hurry!" she said, and slipped under the water. As Philip could breathe underwater, he followed with a splash. Syrena turned around to get her eggs.

"Where are you taking me?" Angelica asked the pirate.

[Question]

Philip picked up that one egg he had been holding, and followed quickly. He tried to make out if the ship had a flag. He couldn't see a British or Spain symbol anywhere on the ship, his heart started to race as he followed Syrena.

The pirate looked up from his shabby desk, filled with paper and a mermaid skull as a candle holder. "To prision, for the bounty reward." He explained and then returned to reviewing reports stolen from British merchant ships.

"Who are they?" Syrena asked, still underwater. She was actually scared, which hadn't happened often since she saved Philip.

Angelica cursed under her breath. "And who is asking a bounty for me?"
