Aniu looked down at her son. "Soon, he will attempt to bite the king's niece and be executed for it," she said.

"Executed?" Balto said shocked. "I have to tell him, I despise Steele but no one deserves to die." He said to his mother before bowing his head to his mother, "I'll go find him and stop him."

Aniu stopped speaking for a moment. "Perhaps executed was too strong of a word. What I mean is that he will pass young Amy in a hallway and he will become enraged because of her getting in his way. He will attempt to bite her, but the king will come in and, in his fury, destroy Steele once and for all with his bare hands," she said.

"But, he'll kill Steele?" He asked. Balto sighed," I guess there is nothing I can do, or else the king could hurt me or Jenna too." He mumbled under his breath.

Aniu smiled. "The king would never lay a hand on you or Jenna. On the other hand, Steele has earned this death warrant a thousand times over," she said.

"How?" Balto asked.

Aniu looked down at her son. "Through his greed, cruelty, arrogance, selfishness, improper desire for Jenna and many other things," she explained.

"Yes mother but he never killed did he?" Balto asked his dear mother and spirit guide.

Aniu looked down. "When he was a pup, he would kill small rodents with no intention of eating them. He merely did it to prove his strength," she said.
