Adora didn't hesitate to climb the dragon's back, but felt a little bit nervous as she did so. The first time she had ever ridden a horse, she had been anxious, but this was something very different indeed. There were many things that could go very wrong, however Midnight didn't even stir as she sat upon his large back, and Tera definitely appeared to have the situation under control. Taking a deep breath, she gazed up at the blue sky once more, excited to find out how everything looked from far above.

Druian glanced at the bush behind which the trespasser was hiding. From it came a rustling noise, and moments later, a pair of brown eyes met his. It was time to act. "Do not move." Druian said loudly, pointing his sword at him, "Take one more step and I shall run you through with this very sword! Show yourself!"

"Right," Tera began. "now hold on, it will be a bit bumpy the first few seconds." Tera kicked her legs backwards and leaned forward a bit. She tapped Midnight on the head a few times, and he began to trot forward quickly out of the cave. "Okay, now hold on super tight." She said, over the clatter of the trotting claws. Tera leaned forward more as Midnight spread his wings and jumped. He flapped hard to gain altitude, and soon they were fully airborne. "You okay back there? It was a bit more bumpy that I expected."

Sualtam paced the throne room. "She better be back soon," he said. It was almost dinner time. The cooks would soon be finished preparing the ox that would be the centerpiece of the meal.

Adora let out a little scream of delight as the ground vanished underneath them, as the people guarding the castle grounds became nothing but tiny little ants. "This is INCREDIBLE! I've never seen anything like it!" she exclaimed, holding onto the dragon's back. "It's..it's like another world up here!"

The dark figure emerged from the bush, and Druian gasped, for it was not a man but a woman. A woman wrapped in a dark cloak that almost, but not entirely, covered a colourful skirt. Her raven hair was long and curly, and her vivid eyes appeared almost black as they gazed at him in horror. Her skin was tanned and she wore several large earrings. On her right shoulder sat a small, white dove.
For a few moments they merely stood there, staring at one another. Druian then looked around to see if anyone else had become aware of her presence, which they had not. But he knew that within a few seconds, his father would surely turn around to see where he had so swiftly ran off to. And therefore, he approached the woman slowly.
"Who are you?" He asked, "And what are you doing here? How long have you been here for? How much have you seen!? How much have you heard!? Answer me now, or die!"
The woman shook her head.
"I apologize." she said in a surprisingly calm voice, "I did not realise that this territory had been claimed. I only came here a few moments ago, I swear. I have not heard, nor seen, anything." She frowned. "I have no interest in whatever you are plotting. I merely wish for the world to realise that violence is not the only option. Do you understand what I mean by that, Viking?"
"No." Druian said quickly, pushing her away, "I do not. Now go away, gypsy! Before-"
He turned around. It was too late. His father was already approaching.
