War Cheetahs 2 Roleplay!

[Arani]

Kara nodded in agreement. She then heard a rustling sound behind her. She turned to see Amani's cubs. "Hey you two." She said with a smile.

"Where's mommy?" The male whined. Kara turned fully and bent down in front of them.

"Mommy's not here anymore. Maybe she'll come back some day, but for now, why don't we get you two in for your nap." She grinned as both the cubs gave her their precious annoyance faces. She turned back to Kayan. "Shall we?" She asked him as the cubs started for their den.

(( I was going to have Kayan ask about Amani's cubs and what they should do with them =O ))

Kayan smiled and nodded at Kara, "Of course." he wouldn't mind at all taking care of Amani's cubs, maybe if she came back one day and saw that they took care of them she'll finally leave them alone. Not only that, the two cubs were adorable, and they wont be able to survive on their own. Kayan got up and walked alongside Kara as they both walked after the cubs who seemed to be arguing on who will beat the other to the den first.

(xD I read your mind. 0_o nah JK, lucky timing I guess.)

Kara, who was limping in a very pathetic way, watched the cubs as they stared to wrestle. "Oi, no beating each other up!" The cubs looked back, gave her an apologetic smile, and both said at the same time

"We know, we know. You've said it a million times!" Kara laughed.

"Make that a million and one, then." The cubs made a face at her, then raced towards the den. Kara chuckled.

Kayan couldn't help but chuckle at the cubs behavior. "Cubs are so adorable." he said, watching the two cubs as they raced to the den.

[Arani]

"Very." Kara said with a smile. The cubs looked back.

"Hurry up!" The female yelled. "You two are slower than snails!"

"We're coming!" Kara yelled back.

"You're acting like an old-timer, Kara!" The male hollared.

"Ya well you can't rush old-timers!" The cubs shrugged and took off again.

Kayan chuckled and looked at Kara, "Should we hurry or not?" he didn't mind.

[Arani]

Kara grinned. "I'd rather not." She gestured to her leg. "Besides, they need to burn some energy, let them run back and forth." She chuckled.

Kayan nodded, "Yeah, forgot about that..." he was so happy that he confessed his true feelings for her.

[Arani]

(At some point are we gonna skip ahead to maybe a year or two later or what?)

After some time and effort, they had finally reached the den. Kara put the two cubs to bed. She nuzzled both of them with motherly affection. "And this time, please don't run off without Kayan or myself." The cubs sighed and nodded.

"Sorry Kara." She closed their eyes and fell asleep. Kara stared at them for a few moments, then limped to where Kayan was waiting.

Kayan smiled at Kara as she came over to where he was sitting and then he looked at Amani's cubs, "You know, you're their true mother, not Amani." he truly meant what he was saying. "You were there for them more than she was. You might not be a mother in the meaning of the word, but you're still a good one."
