Scar figured now would be the best time to carry out his final removal of anything that could threaten his rule; the future generation. He figured Sarabi was growing old and he could easily get to the cubs. But Scar underestimated the old Queen, and as he made his intentions clear her muscles tensed and she prepared for a fight. Sarabi was willing to put everything at risk. The Taka she knew and had loved was gone, and as the murderous tyrant she knew as Scar stepped forward to killed the cubs, she knew she would rather die fighting her old friend than allowing him to kill the cubs.
