My Lion King Forum

I watched The Lion King recently and felt inspired to draw these three. The title is taken from lyrics of the song "Be Prepared." I used http://sbslink.deviantart.com/art/The-l ... -s-4163122 and http://bre1889.deviantart.com/art/Banza ... d-84169727 as references for angle and making sure that I had the character's markings, expressions, etc. right. I had just finished http://roxmad.deviantart.com/art/What-T ... 1972799and wanted to do a piece just for fun. So this isn't shaded or anything, but I really enjoyed drawing it. I drew Shenzi first and had to practice a few times before getting those head shapes right. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Done using 2B, 6B, 7B, and colored pencils, a rollerball pen, kneaded and normal erasers, and a sponge
