So I'd heard good things about FireAlpaca, and considering it's a free program, I decided to give it a go. The lines can be made so much smoother than I can make them in Photoshop, so I think I'll be working with this program more because it really made it a lot less hassle to draw. I did a handful of really quick sketches, and then I decided to try an actual quick doodle, and this is the result. I probly spent half an hour or so on this. I know it could use improvement. It wasn't meant to be anything complicated or anything like that.

I used to be pretty horrid at drawing Scar until I was working on a story about his and Zira's past that I did a lot of concept art (most of which never got posted online) and a minicomic for. Just drawing him (and her, as well) repeatedly made me get a lot better. So I'm sure you'll get better with practice too.
