My Lion King Forum

This is a lionization of three of the characters from a group project I am a part of right now. Me and my friends are making a video game and I felt like drawing three of the main characters.

This was actually pretty good practice with painting and linework so maybe I'll do more later. ^^

Character on the far left is Nina, our protagonist, a dedicated heroine who seeks to do what is best for her tribe - however, she is prone to being temperamental at times, and occasionally lacks empathy for those around her, making her seem hot-headed and aggressive. Beneath this, however, she is a capable leader and able to make rational decisions, and truly cares for those close to her.

Character in the middle is Caiya, Nina's older brother and a sensitive soul secretly afflicted with a terrible, ancient curse. He mostly keeps to himself, partly because of his introverted personality but also because of his fear of anybody finding out. He struggles with his powers, which cause him inadvertently to hurt those around him, but on the inside, he only wants to do the right thing.

Character on the right is Ukko, a stark and fearless man with a hidden past who meets and befriends Caiya. He also has the curse and has been persecuted for it - unlike him, however, Ukko has come to terms with his powers, and wishes to do whatever necessary to improve the lives of others like him, even if it requires him to put morals aside.

To whomever keeps one-starring my work:

Yes, I saw that. It's pretty obvious. And to be frank, I don't even really know why I'm addressing this because I have better things to do than flyt with a bunch of petty 11 year-olds.

Listen up, it's a small site here, and you're obviously going out of your way to be a dick, so... you gotta problem with me, kid? What's your deal? Be upfront and be straight with me about it or don't bother. One-starring me does literally nothing but make you look like a passive-aggressive little s**t... and really. What makes you think I need validation from other people on this site? What makes you think that this is going to hurt me? It doesn't.

In fact, I don't actually even know why I bother posting my work here anymore because there are far better places I can do this on without dealing with this sort of personal nonsense, that isn't even a reflection on the quality of my art. So... whatever.

Honestly. I don't have time for this grudge, whatever it is. And at this point I care neither for your opinion nor for most of the others on this side of the site. Your s**t is beneath me. So don't waste your time.
