Posted: December 31st, 2015, 11:38 amYou ought to be able to get a set of 12 to 24 for a few bucks. And at Walmart. You can get 72 for 7 bucks. Good deal for the amount of pencils. CrazyArt is the brand to go for.
I admit I am swimming in pencils, but this is gathered over the years. 4+ boxes of 72 count CrazyArt. 100 Count Rose-Art; 48 count Crayola; 56 count Pentium; and 12 count greyscale Pentium(different hardnesses).
Crazy Art is not the best used, Rose-Art is to me, but they are very expensive. a 100 count now is at least 50 bucks. 12 counts are 4 bucks. So I would spend 7 on 72 count Crazy-Art.
