The amount of detail, effort, and pure, unadultered skill used in the rendering of the line-birds has made my heart palpitate with utter emotion. I, my friend, as always, am in utter awe of your sheer talent and ambition. I could only ever hope to one day have maybe half the skill that you now possess. The use of so many subtle shades and variations in the background gives such an intense sense of depth... I feel like I am IN this painting, running with Kion through lush fields of straight grass with two random spikes in it.

It may be that I have said this before, but if not - GET OFF THIS LION KING SITE. YOU NEED TO GO TO SOME ART GALLERIES.



Seriously. This entire piece just screams with 21-st century vibrancy. It is truly a masterwork of the postmodern era.
