I was bored, so I decided to draw Labatis. I think I only posted one drawing of him, and that was probably over a year ago.

SO

I started using pen pressure for my lineart, and it ended up changing my style a lil' bit.
Yay for pen pressure.

Not sure if I will keep this style for long or not.

Today we observe the wild Labatis in his natural habitat. We must be careful as not to disturb him.

How'd he get those scars on his eye? :c

The exact way all documentaries speak. lol

The scars weren't a design from the start, they weren't even planned. But during summer of 2014, the roleplay I was once in took a turn during one of Labatis' "snapped" moments.
I believe it was the heir that ended up fighting him. Although he didn't have multiple personalities, he had a short temper and took everything too personally, despite being told that none of what was being said was really aimed towards him.
This resulted in a fight between the heir and Labatis. Labatis was able to give him a few good wounds, still enraged by one of his own personalities. However, the heir also landed some good wounds, but only one was deep enough to become a scar, which was a slash into his right eye. Since then, that eye has been sealed shut leaving him with vision for his left eye only.

This was a bit of a different version of Labatis, I decided to change the eye that was scarred, changing it to the left eye scarred instead of the right. His colors changed to look a little more accurate to what I imagined them to be. It could have been close to the same color, but since I switched art programs to do my line art and coloring, they could appear differently.
(The solid gray color looked more realistic with what appeared to be a tint of brown)
